Same City

To order this musical, please contact Andrea Green.

Jane takes the Runaway Express to Same City to escape her world at home, where she feels “unaccepted” and “different”. After being ridiculed, Jane seeks a world of “sameness” where she can find safety and “belonging.” Same City turns out to be an artificial paradise where “no one gets hurt, nobody cries, and everyone’s safe and secure.” Same City is at first fun; then Jane begins to long for the days when she could speak her own mind and dance her own dance.
